Streaming and authorization platform
Your own TV. Your brand. On every screen.
Lumivio is the complete platform an operator uses to launch and run its television service: a streaming engine with transcoding, a CDN deployed at your convenience, authorization of every playback and apps with your identity, delivered as one managed service.
Exclusively for verified operators with documented content rights
One platform, every screen your subscribers own
- Android TV / Google TV
- Amazon Fire TV
- Samsung Smart TV
- LG Smart TV
- Android (phone and tablet)
- Web browser
How it works
From your signal to every screen
Your signals come in, Lumivio Stream processes and delivers them, authorization decides who may watch, and your apps show them under your brand. One flow, one platform.
-
Your signal
Your channels, just as they leave your sources.
-
Lumivio Stream
Transcoding and delivery through a CDN at your convenience.
-
Authorization
Every device identified and every playback authorized, with Lumivio DRM.
-
Your screens
Apps with your brand on televisions, phones and the web.
What Lumivio is
Streaming, authorization and experience in a single platform
Three layers that usually require three vendors, designed together so that your television service behaves as one.
A complete streaming platform, deployed to fit your operation.
-
Streaming
Lumivio Stream is the video engine of the platform: it ingests your signals, transcodes them and delivers them through a CDN installed wherever your operation needs it, with the continuity live television demands.
-
Authorization
Every device has its own identity and every playback is authorized at the moment it happens. Content protected with Lumivio DRM, included in the platform with no per-playback costs, and with studio DRM when a programmer requires it.
-
Experience
Apps for televisions, phones and the web with your brand, your line-up and your programme guide, published in the stores under your identity.
The stream does not restart. The subscriber does not buffer.
Continuity prevails over any other optimization: source switching without cuts, transitions verified before activation and delivery designed for real networks.

FAQ
What operators ask us before getting started
Do I need to develop or maintain any app?
No. Lumivio delivers the apps for televisions, phones and the web with your brand and handles their life cycle: store publishing, updates and new devices.
What does the operator provide and what does Lumivio provide?
The operator provides its signals and its content agreements. Lumivio provides the streaming engine, authorization, apps, operations and support.
Can I use my current headend?
Yes. Lumivio Stream is the engine of the platform, and we also support integration with existing headends such as Flussonic so they can be part of your deployment.
How is content protected?
With Lumivio DRM, our own protection layer included in the platform with no licence or per-playback costs, together with studio DRM (Widevine, FairPlay and PlayReady) for the content that requires it, encryption and authorization of every playback. The credentials of your sources are never exposed to the subscriber.
What happens if there is a connectivity failure?
The platform is designed to keep your service on air: the components that serve the apps are deployed close to your subscribers and do not depend on a single point. Between nodes, video travels over LRT, our proprietary protocol, which repairs network loss before it shows and can carry a channel over two routes at once.
What does an operator need in order to sign up for Lumivio?
Lumivio is activated for verified operators: an incorporated company, an operator licence and rights to the content they distribute. That is how we protect programmers, subscribers and each operator’s brand.
Which languages are available?
Apps and operations in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Each operator defines its default language.
